During the 2022-2023 school year, we were able to fulfill 90 Teacher Wish Lists!

  • Pre-K's Love to Learn Event
    Pre-K's Love to Learn Event

    We were proud sponsors of SBCSC's Pre-K Love to Learn event. Each child went home with their own copy of "Chicka Chicka Boom Boom." We hope these little ones continue to develop their love for reading!

  • John Adams Students Compete at State
    John Adams Students Compete at State

    Wow! Congratulations to the John Adams High School business students who competed at the DECA State Competition earlier this month. We were honored to sponsor these amazing students who represented SBCSC so well!

  • Congratulations to John Adams Business Professionals of America Students
    Congratulations to John Adams Business Professionals of America Students

    We are grateful we were able to support these 5 students at their BPA Indiana State Competition. Congratulations to all 5 of the students who will be moving on to the BPA National Competition in April. John Adams High School students earned a total of 12 awards in eight categories.

  • Louetta Turner Memorial Scholarship Awarded
    Louetta Turner Memorial Scholarship Awarded

    Louetta Turner was a beloved teacher in the South Bend Community School Corporation. Her collogues and friends began the Louetta Turner Memorial Scholarship in 2021 in her memory. This scholarship is awarded to one graduating senior in SBCSC who is planning to pursue a career in education.

    We want to congratulate James Whitcomb Riley High School senior, Alexandria Parks, on being selected as this year's scholarship recipient. We wish her well!

    Clay High School AP Trip

    We were able to support a trip for Clay High School students from AP Economics and Government to visit the Chicago Federal Reserve.

  • Student's Travel to National Convention
    Student's Travel to National Convention

    We were able to support several students and teachers attending the 100 Black Men National Conference. The students were winners of the African America History Challenge who represented this region. Congratulations! We hope your trip was amazing!
